Investment program 2007: modernization of dosing line
According to the business strategy approved by the shareholders of Magnezit Group Ltd. up to the year 2010 an investment project of all-round modernization of dosing lines is being implemented at the plants for production of shaped refractories of Kombinat Magnezit JSC.
The necessity of introduction of a new dosing control system was caused by high demands on the part of consumers to the quality of refractories produced at the combine. The project started at the end of 2006. Just on the eve of the New Year specialists of the plant for automation and mechanization of technological processes finished modernization of two dosing lines at the plant for production of magnesia shaped refractories.
During three months work they have changed control systems and mechanic parts on the 28-th and 40-th lines of the plant for production of magnesia shaped refractories. The new automated control system was created with use of modern SCADA system Trace Mode, manufactured by a Russian company AdAstra Research Group. It makes it possible to guarantee high precision of dosing. It is user friendly and has simple navigation system.
During the current year it is planned to carry out reconstruction works of nine more dosing lines: seven of them — at the plant for production of magnesia shaped refractories, two — at the plant for production of magnesia shapes № 2. 27, 5 million rubles were allocated for these works in the investment program 2007.
