Engineers of “Magnezit Group” are named among the best engineers of Russia In January according to the results of the 6-th Russian competition “Engineer of the year” the list of laureates of 2005. Among the representatives of the Russian engineer elite the names of a few “Magnezit” specialists were mentioned – Evgeni Krokhin, Mikhail Eroshin and Evgeni Smuishlyaev. In February the ceremony of winners’ award took place in Moscow. This Russian competition had been organized by the Russian Association of scientific and engineering public organizations, International Association of scientific and engineering public unions, A.M. Prokhorov Academy of engineering sciences and Interregional public fund of promotion of scientific and technical progress. In 2005 the competition included 43 nominations and was carried out in two versions: for young specialists and for engineers, engaged in work on this specialization for not less than 5 years. The board of adjudicators and expert commissions included the leading scientists, engineers, specialists of different industries of economy. According to the results of the I round of competition in the “Professional engineers” version in the nomination of “Ferrous metallurgy” the title of the “Professional engineer of Russia” was awarded to Evgeni Yakovlevich Krokhin, the Head of the design bureau of the workshop of automatization and mechanization of technological processes. The diploma of laureate in the version of “Engineering mastership of the Young” for the nomination of “Ferrous metallurgy” was presented towards Mikhail Alexandrovich Eroshin, the Deputy of the Head for the central plant laboratory. Evgeni Smuishlyaev, engineer-technologist of the workshop for repair of mining auto transport equipment, was rewarded with the diploma of the winner of the 1-st round of competition “Engineering mastership of the Young” (nomination “Transport”). Names of these employees of “Magnezit” were included into the register of the best engineers of Russia.
