PRODUCTION VOLUMES IN KYSHTYM WERE DOUBLED In 2005 volume of product sales at the KYshtym refractory plant in 2.5 exceeded the ratios for the previous three years, and in tons production of fireclays increased for 61 percent. Thus, the task of doubling its gross output this plant managed to perform within less than three years. The Former unprofitable, loss-making enterprise jointed the category of profitable and cost-efficient ones, and now this plant is conquering the market of refractory materials in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. This year, as the General Director of this plant, Vladimir Zaitsev, reported, the plant is planning to start the output of new products, which should occupy about a third of the total volume of production.

Volume of gross output in January of 2006 was 8 million 973 thousand roubles. The output and sales of salable powders within this period increased in comparison with January of 2005 for 255,6% and was 182,8 T. The plant increased the products deliveries as per contract with FSUC "Rosatomstroi" (the contract was signed in September of 2005 for 6 months), which were carried out in accordance with the Agreement 1992 concerning the storage, destruction and prevention of spreading of nuclear weapons between the Russian Federation and the USA. The fixed terms of the contract are observed; keeping of the present rate of shipping should allow to meet the contract conditions in February of 2006.

In January the plant kept the high rates of preliminary works, necessary for the starting of manufacturing of a new type of product, which is planned for February, 2006.
