President of Magnezit Group Sergei Korostelyov was awarded with an honorable decoration «For the services rendered to Chelyabinsk region»
Governor of Chelyabinsk region Pyotr Sumin presented President of Magnezit Group with an honorable decoration «For the Services Rendered to Chelyabisnk Region».
Festive ceremony of awarding took place on February 29. in the residence of the governor. Mr. Korostelyov was awarded for the outstanding contribution into social and economic development of Chelyabisnk region. His services aimed at creating cooperation of “Magnezit Group” with municipal and state authorities in the sphere of implementation of social programs deserved special mention.
Large scale reconstruction of public health facilities, sport, culture and educational facilities were undertaken on the initiative and under patronage of Mr. Korostelyov in Satka municipal district. Sport facilities were constructed. Children’s playgrounds were installed. Exaltation of the Cross Church was constructed in the town of Bakal. Funds for restoration of St. Nicholas Church in Satka and Ascension Church in the village of Ailino were allocated as well as for construction of Chelyabinsk eparchial office of Russian Orthodox Church. Strategic plan for development of Satka municipal district up to the year 2020 was elaborated and approved on the initiative of Sergei Korostelyov. Chess projects have been implemented in Satka district with support of the president of “Magnezit Group”. These projects are aimed at intellectual development of children and adolescents. Chess tournaments of international, All-Russia and interregional levels have been held.
Complete social program “Close-knit family” has been implemented in Chelyabinsk region and in 9 more other Russian regions on the initiative and under leadership of Sergei Korostelyov. This program has become a project of the United Russia party since 2006.
Honorable decoration “For the Services Rendered to Chelyabisnk Region” is awarded by decision of Chelyabinsk region governor. For the time being nearly 100 South Urals’ citizens have been awarded with this decoration. Among them: Olympic champion Svetlana Ishmuratova, general director of the automobile plant “Ural” “Group GAZ” Viktor Korman, chairman of the board of “Chelyabinsk tube-rolling mill” Alexander Fyodorov, world chess ex-champion, native and honorable citizen of the town of Zlatoust Anatoli Karpov, general constructor of the State rocket center of the name of V.P. Makyeev Vladimir Degtyar.
