On the threshold of the 250-th anniversary one of the oldest production facilities of Magnezit Group Ltd. – Kyshtym Refractory Works – sums up results of the competition «The best in the profession»
One of the oldest production facilities of Magnezit Group Ltd. — Kyshtym Refractory Works celebrates on August 17. 2007 the 250 -th anniversary since the date of its foundation.
In July on the threshold of the 250-th anniversary of Kyshtym Refractory Works and on the eve of the Metallurgists? Day results of the traditional (since 1999) competition «The best in the profession» were summed up at the plant for the period of the first half of the current year.
The title «The best in the profession» was awarded to the employees of the plant who had been repeatedly honoured with this title. They received also bonuses. In the jubilee year the best in the profession has become Anatoli Terentyev — fitter — repair mechanic of the energy shop. During his labour activity at the plant he has been awarded with the title «The best in the profession» for five times. The high title has been also awarded to Nina Mukhachyova — press worker of the pressing division of the mill and burning division; Lidia Parfirova — transport worker of the burning division of the same shop. She was awarded with this title for the fourth time.
Currently Kyshtym Refractory Works is actively developing. The plant produces more than 1500 grades of refractory bricks, more than 50 % of them are bricks with particularly intricate configuration. Particular feature of work currently is ability to produce exclusive refractory articles in single batches according to customers? drawings.
Thanks to managerial decisions innovative potential strengthened during recent years at the plant. Specialists of the plant develop new kinds of products: for example in March 2006 the plant has begun production of high alumina filler required for production of proppants which are used in oil — an gas — producing branches of industry for increasing oil well debet.
Jubilee of the plant is an important event for all its employees. It is planned to organize festive actions for the veterans of the plant, employees and members of their families.
«Remember the past, think about the future» — the collective of the plant lives today according to this principle.
