Magnezit Group comissioned the second line for production of unshaped refractories at its chinese production site

Magnezit Group commissioned the second line for production of unshaped refractories at its Chinese plant Liaoning Dalmond Refractories.

Today it is the biggest of the Group’s production sites in China targeted for manufacturing of the whole range of oxide-carbon bricks for ferrous metallurgy vessels. The plant was commissioned in April 2009.

The commissioned processing line occupies the area of more than 10 000 м² and is intended for production of unshaped materials for thermal vessels, including masses and concrete products. The production capacity of the line amounts to 1 500 t of concrete products, 10 000 t of masses, 5 000 pcs. of refractory shapes for purging units. The technical plan of the line was done by the Chinese metallurgical research institute Wuhan. The total sum of investments into the project amounted to 16 million yuans.

«Growth of capacities on the Chinese market allows us to optimize deliveries and to strengthen positions of the company on the Asian market», — general director of Magnezit Group Segei Odegov underlined.

Nowadays Magnezit Group possesses two production facilities in the People’s Republic of China — Wuxi Nanfang Dalmond Refractories and Liaoning Dalmond Refractories. In 2010 Magnezit Group brought production capacities of Liaoning Dalmond Refractories to the planned level of 100 thousand tons per annum.
