Ecological technologies of Magnezit Group are acknowledged to be the best in the region

Magnezit Group became the winner in the nomination «The Best Environmentally Aware Enterprise of the Region in 2014» at the Second All-Russia Industrial-Ecological Forum «RosPromEco-2014», which was held in Moscow on December 16–17.

This year special emphasis in the agenda of the forum was laid on application of alternative technologies in all branches of economy. Delegates discussed questions of ecological modernization of enterprises in the regions, questions of preservation of natural resources. In the framework of the forum there worked an exhibition «Resource-Saving Aimed at Securing of Sustainable Development», where resource-and-energy-saving solutions were presented.

General director of Magnezit Group commented on these issues: «We are glad, that activity of the Group in the field of environmental protection attracted attention of the organizers of the forum. In 2014 we implemented a number of big investment projects, which correspond to the most advanced international standards including those, which refer to the efficient use of energy and environmental safety. For example at the Satka production site Magnezit Group commissioned a unique agregate not having analogues in the world — a multi-heath furnace Polysius and the most powerful in the world high-temperature shaft kiln. The level of environmental safety of such a production site achieves 100%. We also modernized a number of old production capacities and equipped them with the most advanced systems of gas purification and air aspiration».

«RosPromEco-2014» — independent expertise-public international discussion site and platform for consolidation of efforts and development of joint coordinated approaches in solving environmental problems. The chief organizer of the forum is the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of Russian Federation.
