«NLMK-Каluga» established a new record of the number of heats in the tundish. Magnezit Group refractories were used for the tundish lining.In the middle of January a record of the number of heats — 123 heats in one tundish — was set up at the electric
arc-furnace melting shop. The total duration of continuous casting amounted to 83 hours 47 minutes. The total amount of cast steel was 15,6 thousand tons. The new record broke the last year achievement of the plant — 110 heats, which was among the best world results for themini-plants with analogous specialization.«Gunning mass of grade Dalgun
