Magnezit Group commissions a new crushing complex with production capacity of more than 200 thousand tpa in Krasnoyarsk Territory
Magnezit Group has commissioned a new crushing facility with production capacity of more than 200 thousand tons in Krasnoyarsk Territory. Investments into the project amounted to 165 million rubles.
The complex is equipped with modern automated system of control of main production units. Belt conveyors and sieves, sites for handling of crushed magnesite are covered in order to minimize the dust level. A remote controlled manipulator with hydraulic hammer is installed for avoiding jamming of coarse breaking crusher. Modern convenient working places correspond to all norms of industrial safety. The equipment was supplied by the leading in this branch of industry company Maschinenfabrik Liezen und Giesserei Gesellschaft m.b.H. Its representatives were present during all stages of installation of the equipment: assembling of mechanical part, electric equipment, automatics.
The new complex makes part of a global project for creation of a modern industrial complex for deep processing of magnesite which is under way on the territory of the production facility located in the lower part of Angara river (town Razdolinsk, Motyginsk district, Krasnoyarsk Territory). At present work for construction of the open cast mine «Satkinski» is finished. It is located on Kirgiteisk deposit and its production capacity amounts to 230 thousand tons. The project was approved by Glavgosexpertiza (RF State Expert Evaluation Department) and the open cast mine is completely ready for operation.
Preparatory works are underway for construction of furnaces at the enterprise «Sibirski Magnezit» with the total annual capacity of 100 thousand tons of calcined magnesia.
«The project aimed at development of production of novel refractories in the lower area of Angara river plays a key part for the company», pointed out the General Director of Magnezit Group Sergei Odegov. — «In perspective its successful implementation will allow to considerably increase production of high quality refractory materials and to meet all requirements of the industrial plants in Russia and CIS. The total volume of investments for construction of the biggest on the CIS territory complex for deep processing of magnesite surpasses 7 billion rubles. After commissioning of the new plant the annual volume of production will achieve 200 thousand tons of calcined magnesia and up to 150 thousand tons of fused magnesia».
The new complex will become a source of materials for production of refractory bricks at the plants of Magnezit Group in Russia and abroad. Magnezit Group is one of the world leaders in the sphere of production of refractory products on the basis of magnesia raw materials. The company ensures complete cycle of production and sales: from mining of raw materials to engineering and operational service. Production facilities in Russia, Ukraine, China, Germany and Slovakia make part of the company. The production site in the lower part of Angara river includes Razdolinsk Periclase Works and the enterprise «Sibirski Magnezit».
In February of 2011 Magnezit Group concluded a tripartite agreement with the administration of Krasnoyarsk Territory and Closed Joint-Stock Company UniCredit Bank on cooperation and socio-economic development of the region. The document opens a prospect for efficient partnership with the administration of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and development of its territories. The investment project will be implemented by stages. It will allow the company to introduce new capacities gradually in correspondence with the infrastructure which is constructed in the framework of the federal program for development of the territory in lower part of Angara river.
