The production complex of the Nizhne-Priangarsky production site of the Group was named "Voskhod

In Razdolinsk, Krasnoyarsk region, since 2006 Magnezit Group has been developing the Kirgiteyskoye deposit and starts development of the Talskoye magnesite deposit, the largest on the continent. Together they form a unique Siberian resource base of «Magnezit» with the explored reserves exceeding 106 million tons. This is an especially pure raw material with high content of magnesium oxide. For its treatment a modern industrial complex for mining and production of refractory materials at the Nizhne-Priangarsk production site has been constructed and named Voskhod in 2023 similarly to other innovation complexes of the Group.

All of these complexes have been created and continue their development as part of a global production modernization program, which includes the introduction of modern equipment, optimization, automation and robotization of processes, ensures growth in production volumes and product competitiveness, savings in raw material resources, energy efficiency and high environmental safety. The most important role of Voskhod in the production chain of the Group is emphasized by its name and one of the key phrases of the legend of the complex: here begins the transformation of natural potential into the products of the «Russian Magnesite» line.

The production site combines several stages of production: extraction, sorting, decarbonization (roasting) and smelting. Equipment includes a crushing complex with a capacity of 120 tons per hour; a radio-sorting system with a capacity of 70 tons per hour; shaft furnaces with a total capacity of 100 thousand tons of weakly fired periclase per year and six electric arc furnaces with a total capacity of 11 thousand tons of melted periclase of the «Russian Magnesite» line.

Refined products of Voskhod complex are supplied to the Urals where the majority of the most popular line of refractories is produced in close proximity to the main consumers, surpassing imported analogues in the majority of parameters. The Group plans to further expand the production capacity of the Voskhod complex and build a new shop with more powerful and energy efficient electric arc furnaces. The Group’s localization of its processing facilities at the extraction site reduces overall domestic logistics costs and contributes to the development of industrial infrastructure and the socio-economic performance of this region of operations in accordance with the Group’s Sustainable Development Policy.
