Magnezit Group held a "Garden of Memory" event at the "Voskhod" complex of Nizhne-Priangarsk production site
Magnezit residents together with the specialists of Motygin forestry and schoolchildren planted 38 Siberian pine trees. The planting was organized at the end of May on the territory near the office building of Voskhod complex as a part of the international campaign «Garden of Memory» created in memory of the victims of the Great Patriotic War.
Pupils of Razdolinsky school named after Fedor Tyumentsev, a hero of the Soviet Union, took an active part in the campaign as volunteers. After a short briefing from the forestry specialists both adults and children planted in prepared wells 38 seedlings of height from one to 1.3 meters — the size of Siberian pine reaches the age of 5 years. According to the Motygin forestry, cedar trees survive well in local conditions, usually up to 80-90% of seedlings. This year, it is planned to plant about 100 seedlings of Siberian pine.
This ecological initiative of Razdolinsk citizens has been held for the second year in a row and is the next step in the complex program implemented by Magnezit Group according to the accepted ecological policy. For example, in Satka the total area of planting within the project «One Million Trees» has already exceeded 200 hectares, and in continuation of programs for landscaping in 2022 the project «Flowery City» has been launched, within which more than 10 million flowers will decorate the urban areas.

Voskhod integrated complex (Nizhne-Priangarskaya production site of Magnezit Group) is the main site for extraction and primary processing of high-purity Siberian raw materials with reserves exceeding 106 million tons. Here, thanks to the confidence, experience and knowledge of specialists, transformation of natural potential into the products of «Russian Magnezit» line begins. The upward development of the complex opens new prospects for the whole refractory industry.
