Magnezit Group started a renewed mentoring program

The main goals of this annual corporate project, in which more than 600 employees of Magnezit Group take part as mentors, are practical training and professional development of young people and expansion of mentoring practices. In 2023, in connection with innovations in production, implemented as part of the global technological modernization of Magnezit Group, the program is supplemented by activities aimed at reducing the adaptation period of new employees, helping develop the professional competence of production tutors, raising the prestige and popularization of the role of mentoring.

Among these initiatives are modern digital solutions, under which an information module will be developed and implemented to integrate the mentor training program into the digital corporate educational platform. There are also plans to create a guide section with useful tips for new employees on the digital portal «Personal account of the employee», an electronic directory of mentors; in addition, an online community of Magnezit mentors will be launched.

— Mentoring is an important area of personnel training system that starts working not only at the moment of employment of a new employee, but also at the stage of vocational education. Magnezit Group mentors are included in the process of practical training of students of Satka Mining and Ceramics College and the company’s scholarship recipients receiving higher education, — said Lyubov Nosacheva, Human Resources Director.
