«Magnezit» again confirmed high standards of industrial safety management system and ecological management.
Supervisory audit confirmed conformity to the international standards OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 of existing systems of industrial safety management and protection of labor, of ecological management at the biggest enterprise of Satka production site of Magnezit Group – Kobinat “Magnezit” (town Satka, Chelyabisnk region).
During three days auditors of the international certifying authority TUV Nord Sert checked fulfillment of standards requirements at the plant. Audit revealed high level of production culture as well as potential for further perfection of management systems. Auditors noted high qualification of the specialists of the company and paid special attention to the efficiency of educational programs for personnel in the course of production modernization and technological renovation of the company which makes it possible to considerably lower probability of industrial injuries caused by violation of safety measures.
They paid attention also to keeping of documentation, administration and functionality of industrial safety management system and protection of labor as well as to ecological management. Auditors positively assessed renewed politics of the plant and precise targets in the field of ecological management, labor protection and industrial safety.
At present in the Politics in the field of environmental protection, industrial safety and labor protection it is possible to outline the following results:
- Reduction of the mass of air pollutants emitted into the atmosphere of town Satka;
- Reduction of the mass of water pollutants poured into the river Bolshaya Satka;
- Rational use of natural and energy resources, recycling of industrial waste;
- Ensuring of priority of preservation of life and health of its employees in the process of work;
- Ensuring of protection of personnel and of the society against accidents and their consequences;
- Decreasing of influence of noxious and dangerous production factors on the employees;
- Efficient management of risks in the field of labor protection and industrial safety arising in the process of production activity.
